PARKnSHOP has been working with Food Angel to organise the “City Food Drive” food donation programme for twelve years, aiming to encourage the public to care for the underprivileged community and support sustainability with concrete actions. The campaign was launched at all stores of PARKnSHOP for 8 weeks every year. PARKnSHOP will deliver the donated food items to Food Angel for making free meals for the needy.
This year, PARKnSHOP has selected its premium brand IMPERIAL BANQUET to launch a special donation mechanism. For every IMPERIAL BANQUET product donated by customer, PARKnSHOP will match with 1 additional donation. With the “You Donate 1, We Donate 2” initiative, customers who donate selected IMPERIAL BANQUET products during designated period, PARKnSHOP to give 2 more! All donations will be sent to Food Angel for meal preparation — making 1+2 more than just 3, spreading love across the community.

You can donate any grocery items, wherever they are purchased, that are in sealed packaging and a clearly listed expiry date (except products with glass containers). PARKnSHOP will deliver these items to Food Angel.

Since 2012, PARKnSHOP has been a pioneer as Hong Kong’s first supermarket to donate surplus food at across 150 stores. Since 2013, PARKnSHOP has been launching the annual “City Food Drive” campaign to encourage public donating food at PARKnSHOP and its affiliated brands across Hong Kong for those in need.
Over the years, nearly 5,000 tonnes of food have been donated to prepare close to 16 million meals and 3.15 million food packs.

After the 8-week campaign is completed, PARKnSHOP will collect all donations and deliver the collected food to Food Angel in batches to prepare meals for the needy.
